Cindi Sherman, Art Director
Cindi has been in the graphic design industry for almost 30 years and has designed and managed projects of all sizes. In the last four years, Cindi's work won three national design awards and countless local honors. Prior to joining our team in 1995, Cindi was production director of The Denver Business Journal. She grew up on a ranch in rural Iowa and attended college at Northwest Missouri State University.

Ed Swartley, Editor/Writer
A Denver native, Ed joined the Team in 1997. He is a 30-year veteran of the marketing and journalism professions, holding a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Colorado State University.  The former business editor of The Colorado Springs Sun, and editor of the Vail (CO) Daily, he moved into corporate marketing and communications in 1986, working primarily for Banc One Colorado and Junior Achievement Inc.

Charlie Amrich, Senior Graphic/Web Designer
With a diverse background in design and the printing industry, Charlie brings over 25 years of knowledge and experience to the table. His expertise at image manipulation and color correction ensures photos and graphics always look their best. Charlie has won awards with his detailed illustrations and logos as well as being a proficient web designer. In his previous position at VX Corp., his print and web ad design work helped launch a successful, multi-lingual, marketing campaign for a new product release. Charlie has gone coast to coast, growing up in Connecticut, living for 15 years in California, and now residing in Florida

Carol Robinson, Senior Designer
With 25 years of experience – from newspapers to magazines – Carol is one of our most versatile designers. She has worked numerous "marketing" projects along the way, which is instrumental in dealing with all our clients.Carol contracts with RFP Services while owning her own successful freelance design company. She designed the overall response for our largest winner ever – a four year, $28 million contract. Carol has worked with or provided servies for companies such as Rock Bottm Brewery, Wells Fargo, New Hope Natural Media, and Kodak to name a few.

Tish Gance, Production Manager Print/Prepress
Tish schedules all projects in her role as production manager and has managed the Team’s printing and prepress operations since 2003. Following in the footsteps of three generations of printers, Tish has both “old school” knowledge, learned by working in her grandfather’s print shop, and state-of-the-art training in print technologies. She earned her four-year B.A. in Graphic Arts at The University of Colorado Denver. She has 15+ years experience in the industry, from graphic design and prepress to bindery operations, and is the primary programmer for our personalized database printing operations.

Kelly Smith, Marketing Assistant
With a background in Environmental Science and commercial real estate transactions, Kelly is proficient in the areas of project management, client care, and administration, where she has worked with the team since 2009 helping to secure and administer numerous projects and clients.

Larry Borowsky’s
writing has appeared in the Wall Street Journal (online edition), Slate.com, “Sunset”, “Aspen Magazine”, “5280” magazine, The Denver Post, the Denver Business Journal, and numerous other publications. In 2003, Larry received a Gold Mercury Award in Feature Writing from the International Academy of Communication Arts and Sciences. He has recently branched into blogging and online media, serving as director of online community development for SB Nation, the country’s largest sports-blogging network.

Brian Gadbery has been a Colorado photographer and picture editor for more than 20 years. Brian began his career working for UPI and The Denver Post and later worked as a photographer for the Los Angeles Times. He has traveled to 27 countries shooting pictures.

Julie Kailus started her writing career at Women’s Sports + Fitness and Outside magazines. Combining her writing and editing skills with her passion for the outdoors, she went on to write and edit for print and online publications including the Colorado Ski Country USA guides, Denver Post ski sections, Colorado Official State Vacation Guide, Competitor Magazine, Boulder Magazine, Colorado.com, Expedia.com and Gaiam.com. Julie also develops marketing communications content for a variety of Colorado-based companies.
